KYLISTA PRIVACY POLICY

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Kylista may collect and store the following information:

• Account information, such as your Google sign-in identifier, display name, and email address.
• Pairing information, such as your pair code, shared couple ID, display names, partner name, and “together since” date.
• Content you choose to send, including text notes, moods, nudges, doodles, photos, and voice notes.
• Device messaging tokens used to send notifications.
• Basic technical data needed to operate the app, sync content, and diagnose problems.

Kylista does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond the content you choose to create or share in the app.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Kylista uses your information to:

• Sign you in securely.
• Pair you with your partner.
• Sync shared content between paired users.
• Store and deliver photos and voice notes.
• Show recent shared content in app widgets.
• Send notifications when useful.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the app.

SHARING BETWEEN PAIRED USERS

Kylista is designed for two people. When you join or create a pair, content you send may be visible to the other person in that pair.

Do not send content in Kylista unless you are comfortable with your paired partner seeing it.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Kylista uses Firebase and Google services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and related Firebase services. These services help provide sign-in, data sync, file storage, and notifications.

Your use of Google sign-in and Firebase services may also be subject to Google’s privacy practices.

PHOTOS, VOICE NOTES, AND WIDGETS

If you choose to send photos or voice notes, those files may be uploaded and stored so your paired partner can access them.

Kylista widgets may display recent shared content on your device. Widget content may be visible to anyone who can see your device screen.

NOTIFICATIONS

Kylista may ask for permission to send notifications. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

DATA RETENTION

Kylista keeps account, pairing, and shared content data for as long as needed to provide the app’s features, unless you delete it or request deletion.

If you leave a pair, your account may be disconnected from that pair. Some shared content may remain available to the remaining paired user unless deleted.

DATA DELETION

You may request deletion of your Kylista account data by contacting:

Please include the Google account email associated with your Kylista account so the request can be processed.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Kylista is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

SECURITY

Kylista uses Firebase security rules, authentication, and platform security features to help protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so you should only share content you are comfortable storing online.

NO SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Kylista does not sell your personal information.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If changes are made, the effective date above will be updated.
